Post-Operative Care
Post-operative care is one of the most rewarding aspects of our job as physical therapists. It is wonderful to take a patient through the whole process, starting right after the surgery and finishing with full recovery. We understand that patients are going to have a list of questions and may be nervous about physical therapy in the early stages after surgery. This is why we set aside an entire hour for you and your therapist on Day 1. We want to make sure that all of your questions get answered to your satisfaction and that you completely understand what the goals are for both the short and long term. We also take the chance to educate you on your specific surgical procedure during this first visit.
Surgeons from all over the Upper Peninsula and Northeast Wisconsin have grown to count on Back in Motion to deliver optimal results and maximize the benefit of their surgical intervention. We maintain excellent communication with your doctor throughout your recovery and give him or her an update on your status before each and every return visit to the surgeon’s office.
